Picture this. It’s a Friday night and you’re on the couch with your favorite take out food, tissue box on the side table, watching your favorite romance movie of all time, awaiting the best part. The wedding of course! Hoping to emulate the details you love from it into your special day.

Now picture this. It’s October 1st, leaves have turned and are slowly falling off the trees, the sunset is earlier than most prefer, the weather is warm with a bit of crispness, and you’re attending a backyard wedding. The perfect combination, right?!

When you arrive at the backyard wedding, you pull up to the cute little house on the corner with a porch swing by the front door. You are guided to walk through the wooden gate in the driveway, as you enter the back yard you are transformed into a romance wedding movie dream.

Lights strung from the back porch to the gazebo. Flowers bloomed alongside of the fence. Fences so high, you feel transported into your own little world. Round tables with white chairs filled with your biggest cheerleaders, set up to define the aisle. Shed doors open, displaying the open bar. And a dessert table one could dream of.

I told ya, it felt like it was straight out of a movie. Alaina + Alan had the most loved filled day one and we were able to fully submerge ourselves in this experience. We are so thankful they allowed us to be apart of the most intimate time of their lives, and this setting was a reflection of that, and more.
